abstract:Bai Juyi (Wade-Giles: Pai Chu-i; ; 772–846), or Bo Juyi (Wade-Giles: Po Chu-i), was a Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty. Many of his poems concern his career or observations made as a government official, including as governor of three different provinces.
The first Aoyama work one encounters is "Idle Evening, " a poem by the Chinese Tang Dynasty poet BaiJuyi, first exhibited in 1938 by the prestigious Taito Shodoin calligraphic association when the artist was in his 20s.
